What We’ve Been Up To Recently

In the past week, Valerian Court Care Home hosted a variety of events.

We were delighted to welcome local businesses and groups to the home as part of our Local Business Open Day.

Our friendly staff introduced themselves to members of the local community to tell them all there is to know about Valerian Court and get familiar with influential businesses in Didcot. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us and for the warm welcome that the community has extended to the Valerian Court team.

We supported Alzheimer's Society Elf Day here at Valerian Court where some of our team members dressed up as elves to raise money for those affected by Dementia. and we ran a sweepstake with a celebration cake baked by our very own 'Sugar Twinkleton' up for grabs.

On Saturday we hosted our Open Day and we had a great day welcoming so many people into our lovely home. Festive treats and activities were enjoyed by many and the entertainment was provided by Vintage Ruby, a fantastic singer who performed songs from previous decades.

We attended Didcot's Festive Market. Our team loved chatting with the people of Didcot including the naughty elf. We handed out goody bags full of Valerian Court merchandise to members of the public and our Head Chef's homemade cupcakes were a big hit! Thank you to Didier, Louise, Sandra and Katrina for spreading the festive joy.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has shown their support so far and we look forward to seeing what the new year holds for Valerian Court.

If you would like to learn more about the care services or facilities offered at our care home in Didcot, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Valerian Court team who will be delighted to help in any way they can and answer your questions.
