Exciting Expansion – Compton Floor Officially Opens
We are delighted to announce the exciting news that on March 3rd 2025, Valerian Court Care Home officially opened Compton Floor, a brand-new addition to our home. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing exceptional care for our residents.
The new floor consists of 19 rooms and is dedicated to offering 24/7 nursing care. Previously, our nursing residents and those living with dementia shared the same floor. However, with the opening of Compton Floor, we now have a dedicated space for residents who require nursing care while also creating additional rooms on our dementia floor. This expansion enhances our ability to cater to the diverse needs of our residents with tailored care and comfortable living spaces.
With three our of four floors now open, Valerian Court Care Home proudly offers a comprehensive range of services including residential, dementia, and nursing care. This development strengthens our ability to provide high-quality, personalised care in a welcoming environment.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a special moment, led by Anne, one of the first residents to move into Valerian Court in December 2022, alongside our Home Manager, Andrei. Anne expressed her joy at the new addition, describing the floor as "beautiful". The addition of Compton Floor reflects out ongoing dedication to expanding and improving our facilities. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the new space is designed to provide comfort, security, and a homely atmosphere for residents requiring nursing care. The floor is equipped with modern amenities, spacious en-suite rooms, and a calming environment to support health and well-being.
Families of our residents have also welcomed this development, appreciating the enhanced care provisions and the opportunity for their loved ones to receive dedicated nursing support in a specialised setting. The ability to accommodate more residents across our different care floors ensures that we can meet the growing demand for high-quality elderly care in the community.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to opening our fourth and final floor in the near future, further expanding our capacity and service offerings. Our goal is to continue evolving to meet the needs of our residents while maintaining the warm and compassionate environment that makes Valerian Court Care Home a trusted choice for families.
